This policy shall be read in conjunction with the User Terms and Conditions.

Our Privacy Policy is designed to assist you in understanding how we collect and use the personal information you provide to us and to assist you in making informed decisions when using our Website, Device Application or our Device and such other products and services as provided by us from time to time. This Policy explains the personal information or any other information which may be collected or gathered through mobile based device (i) when you install, register or subscribe to, access, and/or use the features of Device Application ; (ii) when any advertisement or survey campaign is displayed by Company on the Website or Device Application or as part of your interaction with such advertisement by Company; (iii) how we use that personal information, and the purposes for which we collect or store it; and (iv) how we disclose such personal information.

This Device Application is intended for all user/s who are interested to get all the information about the car in which the Device is installed and connected to the Device Applicatio. We may request your access or permission to certain features from your mobile device, to enable any additional features on the Website, or the Device.. The Device collects the data and makes all the required information available to the user. To avail the access to data, user permits or provides his or her consent to the Company to install and collect the data from the vehicle and thereby present it on the Device Application. For smooth interaction or to improve the efficiency or accuracy of results with the Device Application, we may request to access or permission to use certain features from your mobile device, and other related features.

This Policy applies to information we obtain from you through the Device Application. It does not apply to information that we may obtain from sources other than the Device Application, who provide your information based on their privacy policies and your interaction with their offerings. Company may also be permitted to collect certain information about you from the websites, applications, channels, services or landing pages (“Third-Party Sites”) which you may access through the Device Application by the provider/owner of such Third-Party Sites, in such case, we will treat such information in accordance with the privacy policies of such Third-Party Sites in addition to this Policy, subject to the terms of the former. This Policy does not apply to Third-party Sites you may access through the Device Application or your direct interaction with any third party including an advertiser even if you engage with any specific advertisement through the Device Application, nor does it apply to information that you provide to or that is collected by any third party. We encourage you to read any such third-party terms, conditions, policies, notices etc. before providing information on or to such third parties including Third-Party Sites.

Information we collect and how we collect it

We collect information from and about users of our Device Application as stated herein. Information you provide to us with prompts, If you elect to install, register or subscribe, launch, access and/or use the Device Application, we will ask you to provide certain information to create your account such as name, email ID, telephone number, age and gender and other preferences. You may also provide the Device Application with additional information such as content/category preferences, location, areas of interest, language, region preferences etc. in order to customize the experience for you.
Device Application is meant for general audience and is not targeted towards users below 18 years of age, therefore, we do not knowingly request access to, collect or process personal information of any such user. We presume that you are competent to contract within the meaning of the Indian Contract Act, 1872 and to enter into this Agreement with us post perusal and acceptance of these terms.

Other Information we collect without prompts

When you access, and use the Device Application including when you view any advertisement displayed therein, we may collect:

a. Device Application usage details. Details of your access to and use of the Device Application, including interaction data, logs of access and usage, and other performance data and the resources that you access and use on or through the App.
b. Location Information: The Application collects information about the location of your smart device with your prior permission. You can choose whether or not to allow the Device Application to collect information about your device’s location by turning off the location settings on your device. If you block the use of location information, some parts of the Device Application may then be inaccessible or not function properly.
Further, You hereby permit us to use your phone’s location to detect your current location to enable us to send smart alerts and to provide optimum end user experience of the Device Application.
c. Third-Party Information Collection: When you use the Device Application or its content, certain third parties may use automatic information collection technologies to collect information about you or your device.

How Your Information is used

• We (and our partners and Affiliates) may use information that is collected about you or that you provide to us, to (collectively referred to as “Permitted Purposes”):
• Provide you with the Device Application features and its contents, such as location-based events, featured stories, offers and any other content.
• Notify you about your subscription to the Device Application, including without limitation expiration and renewal notices.
• Notify you when any relevant Device Application updates or upgrades are available and requires notification.
• Improve our customer services and account maintenance including to detect, deter and prevent fraud, fraudulent traffic or to protect the security of our systems.
• Make disclosures in the event of merger, sale, other asset transfers or other relevant corporate transactions. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing due diligence, reorganization, bankruptcy, receivership, purchase or sale of assets, or transition of service to another provider, then your information may be sold or transferred as part of such a transaction, to the extent permitted by law and/or contract.

Location data collection: You may opt out of the location data collection by the Device Application by turning off the location settings on your mobile device. Note, however, that opting out of the Device Application’s collection of location information will cause its location-based features to be disabled. Device Application may read your location on city level from your cellular network to enhance your experience and the content we serve you. This city level location data is solely used by our recommendation engine to serve you content.

Data Security

We have implemented suitable technical and organizational measures to secure your personal information in compliance with our legal and privacy requirements and contractual obligations and applicable laws. We also seek appropriate contractual protection from our partners regarding their collection, use or treatment of user data. Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet and mobile platforms is not completely secure. Where it is feasible, we do our best to protect the personal information of user. However, it is further that state that, we shall not be liable for any such misappropriation of user personal information, and we are under no liability to indemnify the user or any of its legal heir for the same.

Data Retention Period

Company may retain the information relating to your device collected for undefined period, unless otherwise required by law or applicable contract.
Company may retain the information it obtains about you as per the instructions of its customers or partners who provide such information or as required to fulfill our contractual obligations. In case any information is provided by you in participation of a survey, Company will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes it collected the information for.
